I overheard somebody telling another (two strangers) about a good auto shop to paint their car. A guy name Jose who bought an Earl Scheib Paint Shop. He changed the name to Earl Shine.
My friend gave me a car last month. On my son's birthday, he gives me a car. He said to paint it though, so now I have a referral to go to. Now I know the way and I'll find Jose.
My friend who gave me the car, I've connected two a few times over a few decades. What did I learn from this 1st friend that assisted in shaping my life?
I'll call this friend ART. He has taught me about Respect, he has taught me about business. He has taught me about systems. He has taught me about how to photograph, how to create the portraits that people want to keep. How to deliver the portraits, display the portraits, frame the portraits, sell the portraits and keep the customer. He taught me about service. At the bought of every invoice, he would have "At Your Service" under where I would sign and the customer would sign.
Ray, At Your Service! It was sort of the beginning of shaping me. The ART of creating images that people loved, and the ART of creating the image of who you are.
I think I need to do both. Improving images on the outside, begins on who you are on the inside.
Find Yourself Inside "FYI" who are you? Who am I? 11/09/13... a year from today, I begin to build Ray. ORay, a Circle of Friends around Ray. Who are they? ART is friend One. A friend in business in 1985 and a friend in business today. A Successful friend. ART, my first story.
